Your online presence and updates are really appreciated by those of us far away (Indiana) but praying for all of you in the Katrina devestation area. The timeline is so interesting as well. I can't believe that our government is so behind in giving all the help they need. God bless you all and help get you through this difficult time.

I am not sure the timeline you link to provides a complete overview. Local and state officials should not be excused from mistakes they made, just as federal officials must answer many questions.
There is plenty of blame to go around, and plenty of time in the future to hand it out. But let's distribute assistance to those in the affected area first.
