A Northerly Wind Over Galveston

We can take another (but let's hope we don't have to) because what is that saying, "what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger..."
Troy,
Thanks for all your postings. Glad Rita skirted us by; although, sorry for those it hit. You are my parents' neighbor. They're on Red Gate. We've been reviewing your site, which has provided much reassurance and hope, since the first Katrina evacuation--when they almost didn't leave. Some coincidences may be more than that. My brother is friends with Christy and even has a house on Catina as well. I'm sorry for their losses. With your help, however, someone rescued his tenant's cat by scaling the second floor--there is a picture you posted with the balcony. My sister recognized our brother's house--so at least the second floor and the cat are OK.
Thanks again and should we need a port in the storm for valuable information, we'll be sure to continue to tune in to your blogspot.
See you back in the neighborhood sometime.
All the best,
Ashley Spencer
