I just finished the book, Bayou Farewell.(I read it in one day) What a fabulous book! It really shows the crisis facing all of Louisiana, from loss of the wetlands. Mike Tidwell tells his story with such style, every politician in Washington should have to read this book - maybe then they'll finally allocate the money needed to restore the wetlands and really protect New Orleans and all of Louisiana from future hurricanes.
